It now also takes in a selection of younger-vine fruit from the estate's cru sites, including Cottà in Neive and Ronchi, which lends the blend a broader palette than a single parcel could. The winemaking is deliberate: three weeks on skins to build tannic structure, then twenty months maturing exclusively in large, low-impact oak botti so that the wood supports the wine without marking it. For a straight Barbaresco, it sets a high benchmark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproachable after two or three years and good for a dozen or more.
