A strong flowering, a warm spring and a dry December produced a good crop. Picking happened early to keep the freshness and floral character intact. In the winery the bunches were completely destemmed and fermented for a fortnight with gentle daily pump-overs, then the wine spent a couple of months in oak before bottling in November without fining or filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRed cherry, rhubarb and a rose-petal lift, light on its feet with fine tannin and clean acidity. Serve it at 14-15 degrees, lightly chilled.
