Chalky ground feeds this blend, and extraction in the cellar is kept soft so the fruit stays forward. The appellation asks for at least a third Pinot Noir alongside Gamay; here the Pinot leads.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStrawberry and raspberry come first, with a little cherry, a dusting of spice, juicy acidity and soft tannin at 12.5% alcohol. A light chill helps, so pour it at 14 to 16 degrees.
