The parcels behind this wine are Les Danguerrins, Les Creux Baissants, Les Fouchères and Derrière le Four, covering 1.85 hectares in total, with an average vine age of forty years. They lie mostly on north-facing ground high on the hillside, where the soil is very rocky and full of limestone and the ripening runs later than lower down, which is a considerable advantage in warm years.
