The fruit here comes from San Martino al Tagliamento, near Pordenone, where the vineyard sits at the base of the Alps on a mix of clay and alpine gravel left by alluvial deposits. Pinot Gris from Friuli tends to carry more flesh than examples from the Veneto or Trentino, and Justin Bubb pushes that further by leaving the crushed, de-stemmed fruit to sit in the press for about twenty-four hours before pressing begins. Fermentation followed in steel tank, and the wine rested on lees for twenty weeks before bottling.

Best drunk within two or three years of the vintage. Serve at 10-12°C with prosciutto, pan-fried fish or a bowl of risotto primavera.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
