This wine comes from vineyards on the alluvial soils around San Martino al Tagliamento, near Pordenone in Friuli, where Justin Bubb makes the Babo range. The blend is 89 per cent Glera and 11 per cent Pinot Noir, given its second fermentation in tank by the Charmat method traditional to the region and left on lees to build texture.
