Bachelet-Monnot has bottled a Santenay Blanc since 2012, and the wine is assembled from four parcels averaging around 30 years of age. The key holding is the lieu-dit Les Bras, geologically a continuation of La Fussière in Maranges just over the boundary. These vineyards are exceptionally chalky and give a wine of linearity and intense, rocky minerality rather than breadth. Marc and Alexandre Bachelet built the domaine on white wine, working from Dezize-lès-Maranges with holdings that run up into Puligny-Montrachet, and the family style is taut and precise across the range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBest between two and six years from the vintage.
