Blocks planted in 1976, 1997 and 2007 all contribute. Most of the fruit was destemmed, with a measure of whole bunches and a carbonic portion for lift, and fermentation ran on wild yeast. Maturation used twenty per cent new oak made from Tronçais, the prized and reliably expensive French forest, which is an unusual investment in a second-label Pinot Noir.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRed cherry and raspberry with earth and spice underneath, fine tannins, and the estate's savoury signature running right through. Serve at 14 to 16 degrees, slightly cool.
