Kelly Lane's Clone 76 joined the blend recently and this release adds a small component from Stuart's Block. Fruit was whole-bunch pressed and settled overnight, then wild-fermented in a mix of 500-litre French oak hogsheads and puncheons, a fifth of them new. Seventy per cent completed malolactic and the wine spent ten months on lees, unstirred.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA mouth-watering balance between fruit weight, tensile acidity and supple texture. Stone fruit sits against richer, nuttier characters, with crystalline freshness and a tangy grip through a long finish.
