Behind that consistency are organically farmed sites, Olive Tree Hill from 1976 beside the S.R.H. parcel, the Winery Block from 1981, Kelly Lane's Clone 76 and a small slice of Stuart's Block, all on volcanic soils over limestone clays. The valley is cool, windy and low in rainfall, which is why these wines finish salty and dry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn exceptional release, striking a balance between fruit weight, tensile acidity and supple texture. Stone fruit meets richer, nuttier characters, with crystalline freshness, tangy grip and a complex finish.
