The block was grafted over from Shiraz in 2018 and planted to Bernard clone 76 at close spacing — 1.2-metre rows, one metre between vines, north-south — on dark cracking clay above weathered basalt and limestone. Whole bunches were pressed and settled overnight, then racked to hogsheads with a quarter new for fermentation and 70 per cent malolactic conversion, followed by ten months on lees without stirring. Certified organic, and full of drive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is real presence: grapefruit, white nectarine, a struck-match edge, and a chalky grip carrying the finish. Serve at 12 to 13 degrees.
