Élevage was short by the standards of the old regime — ten months, mostly in Tronçais hogsheads with a quarter new. The blocks were planted in 1976, 1997 and 2007 on volcanic loam and dark clay above limestone, and the clonal mix leans on MV6 with Dijon selections 114, 115 and 777 filling out the edges.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBright and red-fruited, with orange peel, spice and a mineral undertow. Tannin is light and the acidity keeps everything moving. Serve cool, 14 to 15 degrees.
