The roots run deep into ancient limestone, and this variety is unusually good at reporting back on that kind of ground. Fruit was picked with flavour ripe and natural acidity intact, pressed as bunches to steel tank, then given three months on lees. Only a touch of sulphur was added.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFragrant and finely drawn, and dry to the last drop, with citrus, white florals, crisp fruit and a mouthwatering chalky finish. Serve at 8 to 10 degrees.
