Twelve rows of P58 in the Olive Tree Hill vineyard make the entire cuvée — own-rooted vines planted by Stuart Reginald Hooper in 1976, centred in the plot, facing north with rows running east-west, anchored in ancient marine sediment. 2023 gave barely a tonne to the acre across the estate. Fruit was picked over two passes in early March and pressed as whole bunches, then fermented in French hogsheads with a third new, resting ten months on lees, unstirred, with 65 per cent malolactic conversion. Organically grown.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePure and linear, with concentrated citrus, white stone fruit and the site’s saline mineral wash. It is built to last, and large format will slow it further still.
