The blend leans on the south-facing Winery Block from 1990, with some declassified De La Roche from 2007. Volcanic scoria over basalt, clay and loam above limestone-clay runs beneath both, and Matt Holmes has steadily reduced new wood across the range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA cool year shows in the frame. Lean-framed and spicy: red plum, cracked pepper, sage and iron, with acidity keeping it brisk. Serve at 16 degrees.
