Leroux draws on Les Hautés, La Macabrée and Les Boutonniers, all of which abut Meursault's Les Vireuils Dessous and Les Meix Chavaux. The land faces north and catches cold air rolling down from the Hautes Côtes, which makes it one of the fresher sites in the area and increasingly useful in warm vintages. The wine was vinified in 12-hectolitre casks, with a small part of the blend raised for fifteen months in 600-litre barrels. The combination gives a creamy core with the vibrancy and mineral cut of the place running through it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinks superbly young and ages well for eight years or so.
