These vines do not: Les Millerands, Sous la Velle and Les Belles Côtes all sit on the lower slopes of the Côte, below the village-level Meursault parcels but on the upper side of the road, which is a meaningful difference in drainage and ripening. Maturation was split three ways, half in large oak, a quarter in glass Winglobe vessels and a quarter in used barrique. Put a village name on the label and nobody would question it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStraightforward in the best way: citrus and orchard fruit with a nutty, leesy undertone and a clean, saline close. Serve at 12 to 13 degrees.
