Leroux draws on his key sources: Maison Dieu in Pommard, Mon Poulain in Volnay and Belles Côtes in Meursault, joined here by village wines from Saint-Romain and Monthélie and a few barrels of Bourgogne from Vosne-Romanée. In style it remains a Côte de Beaune Bourgogne through and through. Whole-bunch fermentation was used only on the estate-grown components of the blend. Maturation took place in 2,200-litre Grenier oak casks supported by a handful of 228-litre Burgundy barriques, with next to no new wood. The bottle is sealed under screwcap.
