Petit Maupertuis lies on the Flagey-Échezeaux side, just below Grands Échezeaux, and is farmed by Domaine François Lamarche and members of the Gros family among others. The lieu-dit consistently gives a Clos de Vougeot with more finesse than the site's reputation for solidity would suggest. Leroux's parcel runs to 0.15 hectares and produced very little in 2021.
