Jasper Morris describes good Cazetiers as giving a feeling of refinement and precision with intellectual as well as vinous appeal. Benjamin Leroux, who made his name at Comte Armand before establishing his own house in Beaune, farms a mid-slope plot here planted to 40-year-old Pinot Fin on what he calls a gorgeous terroir. The vines have been worked biodynamically for several years.
