Leroux's plot is on the Chassagne side, next to that of the Hospices de Beaune, and is planted to vines around forty years old. He took over full control of the vineyard work here in 2016 and has since restored the original stone entrance to the parcel. Along with Les Genevrières, Bâtard was among the first vineyards he picked in 2023. Three barrels were produced, with less than one-third new oak, meaning a single new 228-litre barrel in the blend.
