The new plot sits on the higher ground of Aux Charmes, running alongside the road between Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, directly opposite the boundary between Latricières-Chambertin and Chambertin itself; it is a markedly better position than the lower reaches of the appellation. Blended with the existing Mazoyères fruit, the cuvée now stretches to four barrels.
