Leroux draws on his own vines in Moulin Landin, Les Criots, Bois de Blagny and Les Millerands, along with Clos du Village, one of the parcels he picked up after the 2017 harvest. Fruit from the white marls of Bois de Blagny brings drive and a salty, mineral backbone to the layered, fleshy Meursault fruit; on its own it can be almost too zesty, but it earns its place in the blend, particularly in warmer years. Leroux notes the previous owner had not realised the parcel was eligible to apply for Premier Cru status. Fermentation and maturation took place in 300- and 600-litre barrels before racking to foudre and stainless steel; the Meursault Narvaux was folded into this cuvée for want of volume.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrink from two years and over the following decade; serve at 10-12°C with roast chicken, scallops or a soft-rind cheese.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
