Leroux owns two narrow strips here, and this cuvée comes from 0.44 hectares of Chardonnay planted in 1953. The vineyard is certified biodynamic and is perhaps his most extreme site: at 320 to 350 metres it endures bitterly cold winters, though it picks up plenty of sun through summer.
