The soils are rocky limestone with some flint, the vines date from the mid-1970s, and like all of Vireuils they ripen late. Leroux has made wine from these same two blocks for twenty years and bought them outright in 2024; from the 2025 vintage the wine becomes fully domaine-farmed, and the name may shift to Vireuils Dessus on the label.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMore depth than a site this cool has any right to give, balanced by saline freshness and drive: citrus, white peach, crushed rock.
