The holding is split into two parcels of 60- and 20-year-old vines. Soils are stony and rugged in the manner typical of the commune, but the site is well sheltered from the northern winds, and the stones scattered across the surface radiate heat back into the vines through the day. Vinification was split evenly between foudres and 300-litre barrels, neither of which leaves much mark, so the wine is fleshy and open while keeping the racy cut the appellation is known for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well now and for four or five years; serve at 10-12°C with grilled prawns, roast chicken or a fresh goat's cheese.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
