Nashi pear, ginger and a rosewater lift sit over a generous palate. Part of the wine is fermented in barrel, which brings nutty complexity and a fuller mid-palate, and a touch of residual sweetness rounds it out. It is made in the textural Gris style, with more weight than a crisp Grigio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA hint of sweetness makes this a natural match with spicy food: try Thai larb, Sichuan prawns or a fragrant Malaysian curry.
