His family still runs Bleasdale today, and this wine honours him with a blend of the Bordeaux varieties the district grows so well. Cabernet Sauvignon leads, supported by Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Red berry and darker fruit are layered and complex, and fine oak tannins give the structure for long ageing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecant for an hour if opening young, and serve at around 17 to 18 degrees with rib-eye, braised lamb shoulder or aged cheddar.
