Quindalup's soils are sand over pea gravel on a granite base, free-draining and low in vigour, which helps with picking at modest sugar levels. The grapes went into a rolling wild ferment on skins, and that is where the colour and the gentle tannin come from. Additions are kept to a dash of sulphur and listed publicly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAmber-tinted and dry, with dried apricot, citrus peel and a herbal edge, finishing with mild tannic grip. Serve at 12 degrees, not fridge-cold.
