The 2020 draws both from twenty-plus-year-old vines at Quindalup, picked by hand, taken off its stems, left to wild yeast, then basket-pressed into seasoned oak for nine months. Less than 60 parts per million of sulphur is the only thing added. A steady season with lower yields has given this vintage more concentration and lift than usual, which is saying something at the price.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrimary and high-toned, with plum, mulberry and a whiff of pepper, the texture seamless and the tannin soft. Serve at 16 to 17 degrees.
