The Shiraz vines are among the oldest on the property, reaching seventy years in places, which explains the detail this wine carries at a relatively modest weight. Both whole-bunch and destemmed fruit go in, with time on skins set block by block, and only seasoned oak is used — usually around ten months. Like the year before it, 2022 was a cool McLaren Vale season that allowed long, even ripening with no heat stress.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoyously fragrant and spice-driven, with svelte structure, bright acidity and length that keeps going.
