The family farm a few small, close-planted blocks on volcanic basalt, limestone, clay and quartz, in one of the driest, windiest parts of Geelong. Shiraz gets the same traditional handling as their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Viognier: wild ferments, plenty of whole bunches and French oak. It leans to perfume, spice and fine structure over weight, and is counted among Victoria's benchmark examples.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSavoury, with fine tannins and real energy.
