They sit at 880 metres on a northeast-facing slope of Mount Canobolas in volcanic chocolate ferrosol. The 2024 season broke a three-year cool run — a warm spring with well-timed showers, healthy canopies, a dozen days above thirty degrees — so picking came early with full phenological ripeness. Hand-picked fruit was pressed as bunches into a single new 2500-litre French foudre, matured ten months and taken through full malolactic conversion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWisps of reduction give way to ripe citrus and stone fruit with salt, flowers and grilled nuts, the oak sitting well back. Fleshy weight, cool-climate acidity, real length.
