It ripens early and gives more flesh and immediate charm than the cooler sites of Barbaresco village. Vacca bottles it separately, using indigenous yeasts, a long maceration and around two years in large Slavonian oak casks so the site does the talking. Quantities are small and the vines are farmed sustainably.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRiper and rounder than the estate bottling but still firmly built, with dark cherry, spice and tar.
