Rabourcé is among the better regarded of them, sitting on the mid-slope above the village on marl-rich soils that give both structure and lift. Domaine Dureuil-Janthial, run by Vincent Dureuil with Céline Dureuil, is the reference estate of the appellation, farming organically and working with old vines, gentle handling and long élevage in mostly used barrels.
