The domaine farms 0.28 hectares here, planted around 70 years ago, facing north-west on a 30 per cent gradient. This is Savagnin made in the naturé or ouillé style, meaning the barrel is kept topped up so no veil of flor forms and the wine stays fresh and unoxidised, in contrast to the estate's Vin Jaune from the same variety. The 2022 fermented and aged on lees in a single old 228-litre barrel and was bottled unfiltered.
