July 2021","description":"\u003cp\u003e7 Crus is the opening wine of the Agrapart range, named for the seven villages that supply it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThose villages are Avize, where the fruit comes from younger vines of twenty to forty years, along with Cramant, Oger, Oiry, Avenay-Val-d'Or, Coligny and Vauciennes, and as with everything Pascal Agrapart bottles, all the fruit is grown on estate-owned and estate-farmed land. The wine blends two harvests: sixty per cent from 2018, off premier cru sites, and forty per cent from 2017, off grand cru sites, that reserve portion having been raised in neutral 600-litre oak casks. The blend is ninety per cent Chardonnay with ten per cent Pinot Noir.
