Vine age matters as much as site here, with the plantings averaging more than 50 years. The release is based on 2019, 2018 and 2017, with reserve wine making up a remarkable 80 per cent of the blend. After natural fermentation, half the wine matured in large-format neutral oak, and the assembled wine then spent more than 36 months on lees. Dosage is held to 5 grams per litre and disgorgement was carried out by hand in March 2023. Organic viticulture, hand disgorgement and that proportion of reserve wine make this a grower Champagne of unusual depth for its level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent now and will gain from another year or two under cork.
