The name is the counterpart to the house's Latitude bottling, referring to the vertical arrangement of the sites rather than a shared line across the slope, and it also describes the wine. Where Latitude comes from clay-influenced ground on the southern flank and spreads across the palate, Longitude comes from parcels with thinner topsoil, where the roots plunge straight into chalky bedrock, and the result is narrower, more linear and more mineral. This bottling is based on the 2019 harvest and was disgorged in December 2021. The house works with natural fermentations, large-format wood, no filtration and low, extra-brut dosage levels applied well before release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well now and holding six to eight years.
