It is Grand Cru fruit throughout, this disgorgement running to sixty-five per cent Pinot Noir and thirty-five per cent Chardonnay. The base accounts for fifty-five per cent of the blend, with the reserve split evenly between the two preceding harvests. Fruit comes from sixty micro-plots spread across Verzy's clay, chalk and flint soils, and the wine is fermented eighty per cent in French oak and twenty per cent in stainless steel. It spent thirty-six months on lees and was disgorged with zero dosage.
