The Domaine Sophie Claire wines are a separate range built around fresher, more elevated sites. This red combines Grenache and Shiraz with around four percent Riesling, fermented together in the manner of the Côte Rôtie tradition of co-fermenting Syrah with a little white grape. Co-fermentation lifts the aromatics and helps stabilise colour while keeping the wine fresh. The fruit comes from Krondorf and the Eden Valley, and the wine is sealed under screwcap to preserve its bright, juicy character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSupple, fresh and savoury, it is a versatile red for roast chicken, pork, pizza and charcuterie; serve slightly cool at around 15 to 16 degrees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
