The soils are the same rolled galets over clay, and the wine is made with the same approach as the estate's Chateauneuf, from Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault. The Perrin family have farmed Beaucastel organically since the 1950s, long before that was common in the region, and they have worked biodynamically for decades.
