It has long been farmed and distributed by the Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix of Libourne, the merchant house that did more than any other to build the modern reputation of Pomerol and that has a hand in a number of the appellation's best-known properties. Merlot dominates the planting with Cabernet Franc alongside, and the wine is made in the Moueix manner, hand harvested and matured in French oak.
