Laballe distils at Parleboscq in Bas Armagnac, at the edge of the Landes forest in Gascony. Ice is the youngest of the 3-12-21 collection, distilled from Ugni Blanc and aged at least three years in Landes oak barrels, a quarter of them new: fine-boned and fresh but with real body. Rich spends a minimum of twelve years in Landes oak and is made from 80% Ugni Blanc and 20% Baco, distilled in the wood-fired copper pot still; it is layered and generous, with earthy depth balanced by citrus lift.
