Labégorce sits on that plateau in one continuous stretch of vineyard, and its modern history turns on the Perrodo family, who bought the property and later brought the neighbouring Labégorce-Zédé back into the same estate after more than two centuries apart. The vineyard is farmed and picked parcel by parcel and fermented in vats matched to those parcels before the blend is assembled.
