Léoville Barton has no château of its own; the fruit is brought to Langoa, where the wine is made and matured. Saint-Julien sits midway down the Médoc on gravel banks that drain freely and warm quickly, and the commune is known for combining the structure of Pauillac with the finer edges of Margaux.
