Château Saint-Georges dominates it: the château was built in the eighteenth century to designs by Victor Louis, architect of the Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux, and the property has belonged to the Desbois family for generations. The vineyard covers around fifty hectares on the slopes around the house. Merlot makes up the large majority of the blend, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon completing it.
