Jean Gautreau restored the property from 1969 and made its name without any classification, eventually leaving the Cru Bourgeois system behind. Demoiselle is drawn from the younger vines and from the vats not chosen for the grand vin, and it is built on Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot in support.
