The vineyards sit on clay and limestone slopes at altitude, in the same cool corner of the Drome Provencale as the estate's home at Vinsobres, and the wines tend to be firmer and more mineral than the softer reds of the plain. Valerie Chaume and Philippe Arnaud farm organically here, with old Grenache carrying the blend and Syrah adding structure and a black-fruited lift.
