He made his name with fresher, lower-alcohol wines from cool sites in Mendocino's Anderson Valley and along the Sonoma coast, and since 2016 the business has been part of Jackson Family Wines. This approachable range blends fruit from several vineyards. Some whole clusters go into the ferment, and older French oak keeps the focus on fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFine tannins and fresh acidity.
